SIX FLAGS QIDDIYA CITY – Maquettes

SCRUFFY DOG PRODUCTIONS

20 scale maquettes were created to showcase prospective key areas of the new Six Flags theme park in Saudi Arabia.

Daisy had a large hand in many of the maquettes, most notably the Astrolabe (proposed centre piece of the park), Enormous Engine and Turbine, and the Animated Bee & Strawberry Plant. Other smaller contributions included Animated Clock Train, Facade Wheel Machine and Station Wall Gears.

Materials and Techniques included:
• 3D prints
• CNC milled wooden pieces
• Car body filler & a car body filler/polyester resin mix for texturing and prepping
• Colour matching swatches with acrylic paint
• Both hand painting and airbrushing
