OUT OF DEPTH

Prop swan feet sculpted, moulded, cast, seamed and finished by Daisy for the short film ‘Out of Depth’.

Daisy created these swan feet by sculpting onto an armature with monster clay before making a 3-part Acrylic One mould. The swan feet were then cast in Platsil Gel 25 silicone with varying amounts of Deadener LV and armature wire running through the middle, to create a soft texture which would emulate the moving feet but also make them pose-able. She then painted the feet with a silicone-based paint.
